One software does it all

Dewesoft has a wide variety of hardware it can interface within the Telemetry Market. Using the Chapter 10 interface any Telemetry data recorder can be used to feed data real time over Ethernet or a prerecorded file to Dewesoft software. This gives the user the ability to only have to learn one software package for data analysis.

Frame Sync box

Dewesoft Frame Sync box allows users to bring in up to 40 Mbps clock & data signals into a platform independent solution. The Frame Sync box can receive two independent data streams into a single system. The units can then be daisy chained together to allow for higher channel counts.

The size of the Frame Sync box and it's USB interface allow this product to be tossed in a back-pack with a standard Windows laptop for a flight line checkout. When combined with a portable computer or the SIRIUS insturment with SIRIUS SBOX option this solution can provide telemetry data processing in the aircraft and provide the pilot a visual display of the Telemetry data in real-time. This gives the ultimate flexibility to the engineer to solve their mission requirements.

Alta DT, Ballard and Ulyssix

Along with the high quality Dewesoft hardware solutions, Dewesoft X software comes with drivers for 3rd party hardware. This gives user the flexibility to build a single setup file (D7S file) which contains hardware setup for multiple 3rd party vendor hardware. These partners excel at their individual hardware specialties. For MIL-STD-1553 & ARINC 429 aircraft bus data Dewesoft has partnered with Alta DT and Ballard Technology hardware solutions.

Dewesoft has also partnered up with Ulyssix Technologies to provide an entire ground station solution. From their Single Board Receiver, to their single board Bit Sync, Frame Sync and Simulator card, to their Legacy FM/FM & PAM demodulator board solution. IRIG-106 Chapter 10 Interface

Chapter 10 reload and replay

Dewesoft software has the capability to record and playback IRIG-106 Chapter 10 files. With the ability to record data in throughput, packed, and unpacked modes the user has the mission flexibility needed in the telemetry market. This gives complete, all-in-one processing and recording package package for the ground station.

Dewesoft software can also load a previously recorded Chapter 10 file to be replayed in several forms. To recreate the digital PCM data stream from the Chapter 10 file is not a problem using the archive simulator on the TarsusHS cards. Dewesoft software will read Chapter 10 file and sent out of the TarsusHS simulator output at any bit rate or code type.

Dewesoft software can replay the Chapter 10 file to be frame synchronised and decommuntaed. This gives you ability to playback and process any Chapter 10 file without tying up an entire ground station.

Dewesoft software also allows user to transmit Chapter 10 Ethernet packets of data between computers to any number of clients. This adds the capability to allow remote computers to receive Chapter 10 packet data and process the data for analysis, without any hardware on the client side. This functionality provides full processing capabilities to any computer on the network.

PCM Encoder

Dewesoft software has the ability to acquire and synchronize a magnitude of different types of signals like Analog, GPS, IRIG time, MIL-STD-1553, Video, ARINC 429 and many others. Once the data has been acquired it can be encoded into a PCM real-time data stream. This creates the perfect solution for a flexible and scalable PCM Encoder system.

This solution helps the user in a variety of ways from easily creating a PCM stream over trying out new sensor configurations to simulating a vehicle on the launch pad without tying up expensive flight hardware. This capability can also be used to correlate and record the stray analog signals from receiver AGC strengths to the communication links in the ground station.
